Justin Bieber is reportedly regretful about his collaboration with Sean “Diddy” Combs following the sex crime allegations and charges brought against the rapper.
The new dad was featured on Diddy’s “The Love Album: Off the Grid,” lending his voice to the track “Moments.” He is now said to be “so disturbed” by the allegations against the embattled music mogul he once admired.
Amid the unfolding situation, a video of Justin Bieber spending time with Diddy has resurfaced on social media, with many deeming the clip “creepy.”
Justin Bieber Is Unwilling To Process Or Discuss The Shocking Diddy Allegations
It’s well known that Bieber long admired Diddy, even trying to pitch a song to him at just 14 years old.
The two eventually collaborated on Diddy’s latest album, only for the rapper to be hit by a wave of sex crime allegations.
These claims sparked a federal investigation and led to formal charges being brought against the music mogul.
Bieber has refrained from commenting on the situation but is believed to be deeply disturbed by the allegations against Diddy, given their history and his recent collaboration with the rapper.
“Bieber is so disturbed by the Diddy news and is unwilling to process it or discuss it so he has shut off,” a source told the Daily Mail.
They added, “So many people who helped to make him who he is were very close to Diddy and it has completely thrown him.”
The Pop Star Regrets Collaborating With The Rapper On His Album
According to the insider, the lack of comments from Bieber on the matter has been intentional, and he doesn’t have any plans to weigh in at any point.
The source shared, “Justin hasn’t been responding on this since the home raids. He’s not going to.”
They also hinted that Bieber was unaware of Diddy’s alleged horrific behavior toward women and believed it all took place after the pop star “had a long break” from the rapper, following a period when they appeared to share a very cordial relationship.
If Bieber could turn back time, a collaboration with Diddy on his latest album would have been unlikely, as he is now allegedly regretting having worked with the embattled music mogul in light of the recent allegations.
The insider added, “He was featured on Diddy’s most recent album, and had he known any of this, there is no way he would have done it.”
Amid the unfolding situation regarding Diddy’s charges, a video of the rapper and Bieber has resurfaced online.
In the short clip, a young, smiling Bieber can be seen standing side by side with Diddy as the latter talks about how the teen sensation is spending 48 hours with him.
“He’s having 48 hours with Diddy, where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose,” Diddy said at the time. “But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.”
He added, “I have been given custody of him….for the next 48 hours he’s with me and we’re gonna go full crazy.”
Social Media Users Called The Resurfaced Video Creepy
Since the video resurfaced, several social media users have branded it “creepy.”
An individual commented, “This clip of Diddy (40) with Justin Bieber (15 years old) is 1,000x creepier now,” while a second person said, “This video of P Diddy & Justin Bieber will forever be creepy.”
Several other users described the video as disturbing. One of them remarked, “This is footage of 40 year old P. Diddy saying he wants to have a 48hr sleepover with Justin Bieber who was only 15 y/o at the time. Really disturbing…”
Someone else noted, “Diddy’s weird obsession with a young Justin Bieber was always disturbing. Hollywood needs to stop excusing these twisted power dynamics.”
Diddy’s ‘Freak Offs’ Were A ‘Lifestyle’ And Not Criminal, Lawyer Claims
As the disgraced business mogul spends time in jail while awaiting trial, his lawyers have been very vocal with their claim that the rapper is “innocent.”
During a recent appearance on NewsNation‘s “Cuomo,” Diddy’s lawyer, Teny Geragos, slammed the charges against the rapper, noting that the alleged “Freak Offs” he participated in was simply a “lifestyle.”
Geragos told host Chris Cuomo: “A lifestyle and being present in activities doesn’t mean he committed a crime. Those activities and the lifestyle is (sic) not criminal.”
She also said that since federal prosecutors did not mention during Diddy’s arraignment that these encounters were non-consensual for the women, it suggests the rapper’s innocence.
“What was notable today, what my partner Mark said in court, is they never once said that these women didn’t consent to what happened, not once,” Geragos stated.
Years-old remarks Justin Bieber made about wanting to “protect” Billie Eilish from the music industry have resurfaced in the wake of Sean “Diddy” Combs’ arrest for alleged sex trafficking and racketeering.
Bieber, 30, shared his feelings toward Eilish in 2020 while speaking with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe ahead of the release of his album, “Changes.”
A tearful Bieber told Lowe about his own experiences in the music industry as a young artist. After becoming an overnight success at just 14, the “Baby” singer signed to the record label of Combs’ protégée Usher in 2008.
“It was hard for me being that young and being in the industry and not knowing where to turn, and everyone telling me they loved me, and turn their back on you in a second,” Bieber said.
“I just want to protect her,” the singer added of Eilish, who was only 18 at the time of Bieber’s interview.
“I don’t want her to go through anything I went through. I don’t wish that upon anybody.”
Like Bieber, Eilish rocketed into the stratosphere of superstardom quickly and at a young age. Her debut album, “When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?,” went to No. 1 in the US and spawned several hit singles.
Speaking about his personal struggles that played out in the public eye as he came of age, Bieber said that at some points “it was bad … it was dark.”
“Think about how young I was and so impressionable and you have everybody telling me how awesome I am at all times,” he explained.
“I just want people to understand the psychology of why I potentially could have problems in my life.”
The pop hitmaker also confessed that he has been “living in this shame” with “all this sort of stuff with my past.”
As for Eilish, he hopes he could be “a good example” for her. “If she ever needs me I’m gonna be here for her. I’m just a call away.”
Though Bieber does not mention Combs by name in the interview, many on social media have drawn their own conclusions about what the singer might be alluding to, especially since a video featuring a “creepy” exchange between Diddy and a 15-year-old Bieber has been getting renewed attention as of late.
“He’s having 48 hours with Diddy, where we hanging out and what we’re doing we can’t really disclose,” Combs said in the video.
“But it’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream.”
“I have been given custody of him,” Combs continued. “He’s signed to Usher and I had legal guardianship of Usher when he did his first album.”
The music mogul added, “I don’t have legal guardianship of him [Bieber] but for the next 48 hours he’s with me, and we’re gonna go full crazy.”
In another recently resurfaced video, Khloe Kardashian recalled running into Bieber at one of Combs’ A-list parties in 2014, saying that “half of the guests were naked.”
The Post has reached out to a rep for Bieber.
In an unsealed indictment against Diddy, federal prosecutors claim that the hip-hop star hosted “freak off” parties where women were lured and coerced into engaging in sexual performances with male sex workers.
The parties were allegedly recorded, providing Combs with material he could use to blackmail and coerce his victims.
Combs has been charged with sex trafficking, racketeering and transportation to engage in prostitution.
He has pleaded not guilty on all counts and is currently in custody at a New York federal detention facility while he awaits trial.
