Three of people’s favorite influencers made it on a Forbes list.
On Monday, October 28, Forbes released its “Top Creators of 2024” list which included 50 social media stars. The list was based on crunched data on the expected gross incomes, follower numbers, engagement rates and entrepreneurial endeavors of thousands of online personalities.
Creators like Dixie and Charli D’Amelio, comedian Matt Rife, YouTuber Jake Paul, makeup guru Mikayla Nogueira and more made the list. One YouTuber and two podcasters who have made an influence on society also made the list – MrBeast, Call Her Daddy’s Alex Cooper and Therapuss host, Jake Shane.

MrBeast ranked at number one out of the 50 creators. MrBeast, whose real name is James Stephen “Jimmy” Donaldson, earns $85 million, had around 503 million followers across social media and is the “most followed creator in the world,” according to the Forbes. The creator also launches successful consumer product lines like clothing to Feastable candy bars. He recently launched Lunchly, a collaboration with Logan Paul’s Prime line.
MrBeast has also been in some controversy. Contestants from his upcoming Amazon show, Beast Games, sued the production company for “unsafe conditions on set.” He has yet made a comment on the lawsuit.
Alex Cooper ranked at number eight. The Call Her Daddy podcast host earns $22 million and had a total of 5.7 millions followers across social media. She made history when she made a three-year agreement reportedly worth $60 million with Spotify in 2021. After three years on the streaming platform, Alex signed a $125 million deal to take take her Unwell Network shows to Sirius XM like Alix Earle’s Hot Mess, who also ranked #30, Harry Jowsey’s Boyfriend Materal and others.
The podcaster also signed brand partnerships with Kim Kardashian’s loungewear brand, SKIMS, and Kimmy Choo. This summer, Alex also hosted on NBC for the Paris Olympic games
Therapuss podcast host, Jake Shane, came at number 34. He has earned $6 million with a total of 4.1 million followers across social media. Jake started his career playing characters on TikTok. His followers enjoyed his content so much that he then expanded to creating Therapuss. The podcast became such a success that he began a 21-city live tour, which he recently just celebrated his birthday on. He has also partnered with Laneige, Seat Geek, and Sweetfin.
