Grandpa Took His Dog To Furniture Store To Ensure What He Bought Fit Her Too

February 15, 2024 by Pham Hien

Aleecia Dahl’s grandfather didn’t want a dog until he met Coco, then everything changed. And now, he becomes a dog dad who needs his little canine by his side pretty much all the time.

Grandpa and his dog become best friends, and they are simply inseparable. And when they need to take a break from all the adventures, they can often be seen lounging together in their favorite chair.

“Coco is the dog Grandpa never wanted but cannot live without,” Dahl said. “They are the best of friends that he never knew he needed.”

But eventually, the chair had to put into retirement, and grandfather needed to buy a new one. It was very important to him that he found a chair that would be the best fit for both of them.

“When grandma and grandpa moved, they [needed to buy] new furniture,” Dahl said. “It was Grandpa’s requirement that the footrest on his lounge chair was wide enough for him and Coco to sit side by side.”

For this reason, grandpa brought Coco into several furniture stores to try out chairs until he found the perfect one. He just wants to make sure that she likes the new chair, too. Thankfully, they finally found a perfect chair for them both.

“He brought Coco into several stores to try out chairs until he found the perfect one,” Dahl said. “Coco was always greeted with a smile, as I am sure it’s not every day a man and his dog go furniture shopping!
