A cat, or a wild beast? This is the question that a couple from Yonne asked themselves when they recovered a totally out of control feline. And their questions turned out to be legitimate, since the animal was in fact a forest cat, also known as the European wildcat . Dominique Crickboom , relayed by France 3 , reported the facts.
The latter is the director of CSOS 89 , a rescue center for wild animals based in Burgundy-Franche-Comté . He was contacted by the animal’s rescuers.
A virulent female
The latter explained that they had accidentally run over the cat on the road. Which ended up with a fractured femur. So they dropped her off at the vet for treatment and, as animal lovers, took her home.
In the space of a few hours, once the effect of the anesthetics wore off, the survivor transformed: “ He saw the 2 other cats in the house and began to attack them.
