I know I’m not perfect, but I hope you send me birthday wishes.

December 8, 2023 by Pham Hien

I know I’m flawed, with imperfections that sometimes overshadow my strengths. Yet, as my birthday approaches, I hold onto hope that you will still extend your warm wishes my way. Birthdays serve as reminders of our shared humanity, a celebration of growth and the passage of time. In this moment, I reflect on the lessons learned, the challenges faced, and the progress made. While I acknowledge my shortcomings, I also embrace the beauty of my journey, for it has shaped me into who I am today. So, as I blow out the candles on my cake, I humbly ask for your kind thoughts and well wishes. May your words carry love and encouragement, reminding me that despite my flaws, I am deserving of joy, love, and the warmth of your friendship. Together, let us mark this day with gratitude and hope for the future, knowing that even in my imperfection, I am worthy of celebration.
