Meet Ariel! This adorable kid was abandoned on the streets, most likely because she couldn’t be sold. Ariel was born with flipper feet, and while this is most likely why she was abandoned, we believe her flippers make her even cuter. This little girl is a warrior, just like so many other wonderful dogs before her.

They took her in for her initial test and discovered she had focamelia, a birth abnormality caused by the mother ingesting a poison during a critical period of development.
Because of her small stature, they were unable to do many diagnostic tests on her, although her lungs and heart are healthy.
Ariel was maturing day by day, learning how to be a regular dog. She gained friends in the shelter, and all of the stars adored her.
A shelter volunteer fell in love with her and decided to foster her. He has several additional dogs. Ariel felt at ease with him and developed close bonds with the other dogs.
