Some A-lister’s relationship with Sean “Diddy” Combs is coming back to bite them in the butt.
Now that the Bad Boy Records founder has been recently arrested on sexual trafficking and racketeering charges, anyone who has been associated with him is seemingly trying to keep quiet when it comes to speaking out against his alleged nefarious activity. Part of the reason so many celebrities are seemingly hushed might be because they either attended the same social events Diddy did or went to his once-beloved annual White Party in the 2000s. It’s speculated that some celebrities even went to the infamous “freak-offs” that Diddy hosted, which was repeatedly mentioned in Diddy’s now unsealed indictment.
While some celebrities might eventually try to minimize their connection to Diddy in the future, photos don’t lie.
Recently, a photo of Jennifer Lopez and Diddy in bed together with other celebrities resurfaced online. In the pic that is circulating on social media, Diddy and Jennifer were lying in a bed along with the late R&B star Aaliyah, late record executive Andre Harrell, model Natane Adcock, and Damon Dash.
Everyone was dressed in all-white except for Diddy, Jennifer, and Natane. They all were all-smiles as they laid back on the bed, appearing to cuddle up next to one another. The snap of Diddy, Jennifer, Andre, Aaliyah, Natane, and Damon was captured at the I Need A Girl rapper’s Fourth of July party in the Hamptons in 2000.
At the time, the Latin pop star and Diddy were still a couple. J.Lo dated Diddy from 1999 to 2001. Several fans on X, formerly Twitter, have reacted to the photo of Jennifer with Diddy making its rounds on social media.
“This Diddy scene aged horribly,” one person noted on X. A second added, “That divorce with Ben Affleck makes more sense now.” Another commented, “Oh s- -t we don’t know what happened that night, we might have to get Jennifer Lopez too.” One other person mentioned: “JLo has been awfully quiet.”
Diddy was arrested in Manhattan, New York, on Monday. He has been charged with sex trafficking and racketeering. Diddy is being detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, New York. So far, the hip-hop icon has been denied bail twice.
Diddy’s Marc Agnifilo told The Mirror on Monday: “We are disappointed with the decision to pursue what we believe is an unjust prosecution of Mr. Combs by the U.S. Attorney’s Office. Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs is a music icon, self-made entrepreneur, loving family man, and proven philanthropist who has spent the last 30 years building an empire, adoring his children, and working to uplift the Black community.
“He is an imperfect person, but he Is not a criminal. To his credit Mr. Combs has been nothing but cooperative with this investigation and he voluntarily relocated to New York last week in anticipation of these charges. Please reserve your judgment until you have all the facts. These are the acts of an innocent man with nothing to hide, and he looks forward to clearing his name in court.”
