Kim Porter’s father, Jake Porter, has expressed his conflicted feelings regarding the recent arrest of Sean Combs, also known as P Diddy, following a series of serious legal allegations. Kim, who passed away at 47 in November 2018, dated Diddy for over a decade, and they share three children together.
With Diddy facing charges that include sex trafficking, racketeering, and witness intimidation, Jake Porter reflected on the situation, revealing that he was disturbed after seeing a 2016 video showing Diddy allegedly assaulting his then-girlfriend, Cassie Ventura. He stated, “When I saw the video of what he did to Cassie, I was disgusted,” emphasizing his awareness of the allegations through the news. While acknowledging the principle of “innocent until proven guilty,” he believes that “the truth will come out.”
Jake also expressed skepticism about the investigation into Kim’s death, which was ruled a result of lobar pneumonia, labeling it as “a load of c—.” However, he did not advocate for reopening the investigation.
In light of Diddy’s arrest, musician Al B. Sure! has called for a fresh inquiry into Kim’s death. He alleged on Instagram that individuals associated with Kim’s residence were involved in misconduct, claiming that her computer and mobile devices were stolen, potentially containing important information. He criticized a book titled *Kim’s Lost Words*, asserting that it included edited content that misrepresents his relationship with Kim.
Despite these renewed allegations and discussions, it’s important to note that Kim’s death has been ruled as natural causes, and there have been no official claims of foul play.
