Paulina Ben-Cohen Seeks Restraining Order Against GG Gharachedaghi Following Alleged Mall Confrontation

Paulina Ben-Cohen, ex-fiancée of Shahs of Sunset star Mike Shouhed, has filed for a temporary restraining order against her former costar Golnesa “GG” Gharachedaghi, citing an alleged physical altercation at a Los Angeles mall.

According to court documents obtained by PEOPLE, the incident took place on February 28 at a Bloomingdale’s department store. Ben-Cohen claimed that Gharachedaghi approached her from behind while she was shopping and “forced” her to step outside for a private conversation, away from security cameras.

Once outside, Ben-Cohen alleged that Gharachedaghi began recording her on her phone while making derogatory remarks, including threats such as, “How does it feel to be a [derogatory term]? I’m going to f— you up. You will pay for this.”

As the situation escalated, the pair encountered a security guard. Ben-Cohen stated that she requested an escort to her car but was met with an indifferent response. She also claimed that Gharachedaghi dismissed the guard as a “toy cop” and insisted he wouldn’t be able to protect her. At this point, Ben-Cohen said she felt “scared for my life” and called her fiancé, who overheard her screaming over the phone.

According to Ben-Cohen’s account, Gharachedaghi continued to film her up close, shouting insults and threats. Despite repeatedly asking her to step away, Ben-Cohen alleged that Gharachedaghi became physically aggressive, hitting her in the face before grabbing and throwing her phone. She further claimed that Gharachedaghi continued her assault, pulling a chunk of her hair while grabbing her arm.

The security guard eventually intervened, holding Gharachedaghi back so Ben-Cohen could leave safely. However, as she made her way to her car, Ben-Cohen alleged that Gharachedaghi stared her down and said, “I’m not done with you.”

Following the incident, Ben-Cohen contacted 9-1-1 and was advised to file a police report. She has since requested a judge to grant a restraining order, requiring Gharachedaghi to stay at least 100 yards away from her and her two children.

When reached for comment, a representative for Gharachedaghi declined to respond.
