SZA Reflects on Kendrick Lamar’s Super Bowl Advice and Hints at Possible Taylor Swift Collaboration
SZA is gearing up for her Grand National Tour with Kendrick Lamar, and she’s taking some valuable lessons from him along the way.
During her appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show on March 21, the Kill Bill singer opened up about her experience performing at the 2025 Super Bowl halftime show with Lamar, calling it “the best 30 seconds of my life.” She shared that the setlist changed multiple times but ultimately featured Luther and All the Stars, allowing her to step out of her comfort zone.
SZA also revealed the advice Lamar gave her about performing, including a unique perspective trick—imagining herself watching from above. She said this mindset shift helped her improve her stage presence and “invoke a completely different energy.”
As for a potential collaboration with Taylor Swift, SZA teased the idea, revealing that Swift was open to it. The two artists have connected at events like the Grammys, where SZA said she still has moments of disbelief when interacting with the Cruel Summer singer.
With the Grand National Tour kicking off in April, fans can expect to see more magic unfold between SZA and Lamar on stage—while keeping their fingers crossed for a Swift collab in the future.
